Synopsis
Jay Jin is the headstrong teenage rebel, determined to prove she’s serious about making art. J. Max is the tall debonair foreigner, in Korea on business, with more–much more–to his background than he lets on. On the surface, it would seem as though Jay and J. have nothing in common…until a chance encounter in a hotel lobby sparks a mysterious attraction. Will true love prove strong enough to overcome the language barrier, not to mention the thousands of miles separating two attractive people? Then there are the interventions of friends and family who think they know best… as well as a disastrous encounter with spicy chicken kebab! A giddy romantic fable for our ever-shrinking world, 100% Perfect Girl demonstrates the power of chemistry to conquer all.
First Impressions
This covers the first volume of 100% Perfect Girl.
Rich guy instantly falls in love with a poor average girl, okay, I’ll bite. He fell in love with her literally immediately, it was so cute. The comedy thrown in about the chicken kebad was great! Kept him on her mind. What was really cute was how he didn’t know how to deal with his feelings. Like he sees her, immediately follows her, can’t get her out of his mind, and far out of his way he went to find her. Those J is looking for J posters freaking tickled my heart. It made me happy the guy was the one who fell first and legit had no clue what to do with himself. His inability to control himself from seeing and being with her was too adorable. The ending of volume 1 started showing his obsessive nature with her so I was really excited to see how far that would go. A really strong start honestly that gets you hooked very quickly.
