Avelys Rating: 6/10

Avelys Notes: I really like the art for this manga, the cover really appealed to me. The story wasn’t anything that special but the ending was sugar <3 It’s a little forgettable as a stand alone work (I just read it a few weeks ago and forgot how it went) but it did have elements that I liked. Such as the introduction of two childhood friends and although stories usually have at least one of them in love with the other, I liked that one of them is in love with someone else. This was a nice and simple conflict that was realistic and didn’t feel too unatural. There’s always a need for a rival character to make someone else realize what they’re about to love and this was no different in this story. Unfortunately, like other love triangles that aren’t well done, you don’t really end up rooting for the rival. So their character really falls flat in their purpose and feels convenient. If you don’t care about all that and want your shoujo fix of the day then I recommend this one to you because it is indeed cute. If you want depth, look elsewhere. Contains a childhood friend story, love triangle and cute art.
