Synopsis
Even though her body has unusual ability, Kunimi Riko is still (trying to be) a normal high school girl. One day, a guy suddenly came to see her. He’s Tachibana Ran, the heir of the world leading super millionaire Tachibana family! A high tension romance between Ran, who suddenly proposed, and Riko, who turned him down.
Review
So this manga was actually extremely cute. It’s another one by Shideoshi Takegi meaning the art is delicious, but I also thought that the romance would be sparse due to that. It wasn’t at all, it was full blown him coming at her and her accepting it. Her reasoning for wanting a normal life was pretty dumb to me, but hell I guess they needed to give her a reason to reject Ran like that. Ran is too precious though, like seriously, he’s so funny, coming into school with a helicopter and eating sweets in a luxury chair int eh middle of the class. I loved how even though you knew he was busy, he would still do his best to be around Riko so they could make memories together. Riko, she’s a badass omg. Besides her special ability, she has confidence to boot. When ran was in trouble, she didn’t think twice about going to help him. When people tried to deter her from the relationship, she didn’t care. She always would accept hat was bound to happen, and enjoy her present time with Ran, and that’s why i liked this manga so much.
My biggest problem was with how it ends. It was like dash to the finish line where everything gets resolved on one page. Still though, it was a cute ending for the images alone. What i did love about this manga, was the mixture of comedy, romance and action. I felt like it all meshed extremely well together, each coming in where it needed to be. Also something not full of drama? Yes please, I need a break from all that haha.
It’s only 9 chapters with two one shots. Both one shots were good, but the first one was….I adored it, simple as that.
