2 Year Anniversary Part 1

Well, well, well. Looks like we’ve surprisingly stuck around for 2 years. I say surprising because I never thought this hobby would turn into this whole life changing experience. I’m thankful for meeting so many different people. Scanlation has introduced me to so much and helped me level up my prettifying techniques. Without having decided to make a scanlation group, I’m not sure if I would’ve made such amazing friends. I’m glad to be so involved in the community. Now, enough mushy stuff. It’s been a long time since we’ve released, so let me introduce to you a few series you might’ve forgotten about (or anxious to see release). First up, we have this delightful shoujo series:

If you’re not familiar with this series, then you might be familiar with the mangaka. Robiko is known for her series Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun  (My Little Monster). You might’ve read the manga or watched the anime. Robiko brings you these amazing new characters, presented in a refreshing new way. These two characters have these pretty interesting discussions while waiting for the subway. Their discussions cover various topics in a comical way. From relationships to lifestyle choices. Azuma, the male lead, is pretty cynical about certain subways, so listening to his shrewd perspective is hilarious–especially when it reaches nonsensical degrees. Aizawa is the female lead and a wonderful heroine. She starts off as a typical shoujo girl, smitten with this aloof guy (Azuma) and she has the most hilarious comebacks. As they discuss certain subjects and come to a concensus, their witty back and forth is super entertaining. If you love Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, then you’ll love this humor.

I feel like I’m going to get flamed for not releasing this wonderful series at a faster pace. I know and I’m sorry! This is one of the series that is unanimously a staff favorite. If you’re wanting to read a good josei with a strong female lead, this is the one for you. This couple are one of my favorites. They are so honest with each other and don’t beat around the bush, their interaction is very refreshing. This chapter made me gasp everytime I reviewed it. I’m really starting to dislike the second male lead but let’s just say this chapter ends with D-R-A-M-A. I’m excited to see how Ryuu will handle this annoying mosquito. LOL. I promise I’ll do what I can to release faster! Pls no kill meh /runs away.

Now for my beloved readers who are thirsty for a sexy smut, I present to you Nisekon. This was a joint project with Decadence Scans (check them out if you love smut). These short josei series kill me. I wish they were longer. Nisekon is about a couple who have a strange arrangement. They end up married after our female lead hires him to be her husband. Of course she made this decision after a night of crazy drinking amongst other things. This premise might feel beaten to death but I liked the interaction of these two. We have the sexy photographer playboy and the embarassed hard working female who is trying to make the best out of this situation. The art is so pretty and the sexy scenes are 😉 It’s only three chapters, so I recommend if you want a cute/sexy read. Yes, it’s very cute too.

Anyways, that’s it for today. I’m going to try to release some more chapters by the 29th which is the actual date we released our first project. If you can find out which one it is, I’ll send you some love and kisses <3 Thanks for putting up with our irregular release schedule.
