Synopsis
Haruhi sticks out like a sore thumb as a poor, smart girl who got into the hoity-toity Ouran High School on talent alone. When she mistakenly wanders into the meeting room of the host club and breaks a valuable vase, she’s recruited to join the club. Realistic and sarcastic, Haruhi isn’t used to being around crazy people like the princely Tamaki, scheming Kyouya, silent Mori, immature Hunny, and devilish Hikaru and Kaoru, but she’s got no choice if she ever wants to pay earn what she owes. Too bad the club is made for girls to come and be entertained by gorgeous guys — and Haruhi’s been mistaken for a boy!

The anime , I just found out , is totally different from the manga. The ending is rushed, and does not make sense at all. Even some of the characters are different. They do not appear in mangas at all.
And worse of all, in the anime, Tamaki has a fiancé, and it’s implied , Tamaki and his fiancé slept together, or at least, had sex. Tamaki doing that while very much in love with Harumi, is totally out of character .
Sorry, I’m just ranting about the anime.
The manga ending is so adorable. I really loved it. The anime ending was so confusing. Like, what was even going on? hahaha. A lot of long running series get the short end of the stick with anime. Like Skip Beat and Fruit Baskets. I’m sad Ouran’s ending was equally as unsatisfying. Glad you read the entire manga! The romance was so great in the end. I was so happy.

I didn’t like the ending of the anime that much either. It felt so out of place, considering how Tamaki felt about Haruhi.
Haven’t read the manga so that sounds like something I should do, but the anime rubbed me up the wrong way. =( (love Haruhi doe)
