Candy’s Notes: Alright, so I read this one a while ago so bare with me here. Ninjas, yes ninjas, and time travel, oh did I forget to mention the time travel? Did I mention the look alikes and the dying if you meet yourself? Well now I did. All this information is extremely relevant in what started as a normal cute shoujo. Beni, living her life, has gone and got herself kidnapped again. Every bodyguard has gotten sick of her rotten attitude so she’s all on her own. No fucks were given by this little lady, no siree but, BUT, INSERT a ninja from the past who falls out the sky. I honestly don’t know how I started this manga considering it sounds ridiculous to me as I’m typing this but I promise you, IT’S ENJOYABLE! Okay so first of all, yea, the art is cute as F. That’s probably why I started it haha. Second of all, the romance progresses quickly. Most of this manga focuses on actual plot, insane right?! PLOT IN MY SHOUJO, WHAT IS THIS! It’s entertaining, that’s what it is! It’s actually an enjoyable plot, as convoluted as it sounds. The back stories are so sad though, omg I felt so bad for some of the characters. The rivalry between Kagetora and his friend made my heart ache so much after they showed them as children. The romance is by far the best aspect of the manga though. It was overbearingly cute. Even when they were separated, they were only thinking of each other, which let me tell you is important because a lot of jumping becomes necessary, Due to that though, there are some drawn out moments and some forced unnecessary drama. I just want to say, THE TWIST THOUGH! One left feild me, not gonna lie. I should’ve saw it coming, but I didn’t, I’m lame LOL. But it added that much more enjoyment to the story. The love through time is a cliche thing, but it was so cute here, I don’t even care. Little Kagetora was worth a 10/10 alone. Dear bobby, he’s so freaking adorable. Anyway, if you’re looking fora super cute shoujo manga with an actual plot instead of just slice of life, and you’re okay with longer series, check this out. Large cast, so try to keep up, it becomes important with all the back and forth that starts happening. Get read to laugh, smile cheesily, and feel a little heartbroken as you read this manga.
