One day, Takamiya Naho receives a letter written to herself from ten years in the future. As Naho reads on, the letter recites the exact events of the day, including the transfer of a new student into her class named Naruse Kakeru. The Naho from ten years later repeatedly states that she has many regrets, and she wants to fix these by making sure the Naho from the past can make the right decisions—especially regarding Kakeru. What’s more shocking is that she discovers that ten years later, Kakeru will no longer be with them. Future Naho asks her to watch over him closely.

Avelys Notes: I picked up this manga because it was in the top rated on MAL. Due to some circumstances the mangaka was on hiatus with this story for like a year or so, but she finally decoded to continue this manga. As I started to read the manga, I fell in love with the art style. It was very beautiful. It has a very “shoujo” feel to it, with the round faces and the moe eyes. The mangaka draws so well and also pays attention to the little details. Not so much attention to the backgrounds but the characters and what they’re wearing, giving them a personality by just appearance. The story is quite different, taking the question of “What if you could back and fix one of your biggest regrets?” The main character lives a life of regret and somehow manages to send a letter to her younger self. The story doesn’t really explain the technicalities of having managed this feat but focuses on the result. it’s quite a compelling stories, aiming to relive through one of her biggest regrets and attempt to change the outcome. I’m enjoying it so far. Especially this 19th chapter where they had a chapter dedicated on this one character. I was impressed at how well executed the chapter was, giving voice to a character that nobody in the story can tell what he’s thinking. His chapter shed light on many things. Highly recommend if you want a love story (and have patience for the erratic scantalation updates).
